Mutton/Chicken Seekh Kebab is a popular South Asian dish, especially enjoyed in India, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Yemen and other parts of the Middle East. It’s a type of kebab made from minced meat (either mutton or chicken), mixed with aromatic spices and herbs, and shaped around skewers before being grilled or cooked in a tandoor (clay oven). The word “seekh” refers to the skewers that are used to cook the kebabs.
